On June 10, 2017, the Carr Cares Foundation held the 4th annual Brandon Carr Elite Football & Cheerleading Camp in Brandon Carr’s hometown of Flint, MI. This year’s event was filled with over 260 student-athletes learning football and cheerleading techniques from some of the top individuals in the sports industry. Some of Brandon’s football friends joined the action this year including, Willie Henry (Baltimore Ravens), Morris Claiborne (New York Jets) and B.W. Webb (Chicago Bears) to give the students some tips from the pros.
In addition to a day filled with learning how to become better student-athletes, Brandon gave students some incredible motivational messages about perseverance, respect for yourself and others as well as gratitude. The students left with great knowledge, sharpened techniques, and a camp gift.
The 4th annual Brandon Carr Elite Football and Cheerleading Camp was made possible by presenting sponsor, Patsy Lou Williamson along with sponsors, United Way of Genesee County, Alex Clark, Century 21 Metro Brokers and Hurley Children’s Hospital.
