The Carr Cares Foundation is ready for football season as Brandon Carr enters his 11th season of his National Football League career, but that’s not the only exciting thing starting up this fall. The Carr Cares Foundation is thrilled to announce their new partnership with EVERFI, Inc., leading technology innovator, to provide students at elementary schools in Flint, MI; Dallas, TX and Baltimore, MD with health and wellness education using a digital program sponsored by the Carr Cares Foundation.

The choices students learn to make when they’re young can have a lasting impact on their lifetime well-being, happiness, and academic success. But 96% of elementary schools are unable to provide daily physical education. The Carr Cares Foundation’s new Healthier Me – Wellness Fundamentals for Elementary School program is an innovative, games-based digital course that educates elementary school students about the importance of well-balanced meals and physical activity, preparing them to make healthy, informed decisions when it comes to nutrition and fitness and securing healthier, happier futures for the next generation. It is available to students at no cost to the schools and community-based organizations.

The Carr Cares Foundation’s new Healthier Me will reach several hundreds of students by partnering with EVERFI to provide this digital education resource to schools important to Brandon Carr. Stay tuned to see the lasting impact throughout the school year!
