The Carr Cares Foundation - A Letter from Brandon Carr

While growing up in Flint, Michigan, I learned the importance of giving back to those who are less fortunate. At an early age, my parents enrolled me in activities that would make positive impacts in the community, which included volunteering in local soup kitchens, cleaning up trash, and assisting in publicly funded hospitals. As a professional athlete, but most importantly, a man, I have made it my mission to make a positive impact in society, and use my stature as a role model to encourage others to make a positive impact on their end as well.

Shortly after signing with the Dallas Cowboys, I launched my not-for-profit organization, Carr Cares Foundation, which focuses on providing educational enrichment and encouraging physical fitness for youth.

I am requesting your support with the Carr Cares Foundation by volunteering to become a tutor, mentor, or assist with our events. If you would like to do more than volunteering , or do not have the time to volunteering , you can become a donor to support our community service programs and efforts. As a not-for-profit organization, any and all donations made to the Carr Cares Foundation are tax-deductible.

I hope that you will become as passionate and as excited about the Carr Cares Foundation as I am. Your contribution will help the foundation by enabling us to create tutoring and mentoring programs for youth, fund college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who excel in academics, and develop physical fitness initiatives for youth to stay healthy.
