The 2nd annual Brandon Carr Elite Football & Cheerleading Camp in Flint, MI took place on June 13th, 2015 at Carman-Ainsworth Middle School. With 300 student athletes in attendance, the camp received an excellent turnout for the second year in a row. The cheerleaders received expert training from area varsity coaches on the fundamentals of competitive cheer and tumbling. Meanwhile, football campers received instruction from area high school coaches, current and former college athletes, and NFL players. Campers took part in a number of speed and agility drills helping them improve their footwork and overall quickness. Coaches focused on player development by helping campers learn the fundamentals of football and position specific training. Campers enjoyed competing in 1 on 1 drills, 7 on 7 competitions, and other team oriented activities. The camp was concluded with a performance from the cheerleaders and a birthday tribute to Brandon’s mom, Kathy Carr.
